Created everything from cron and image processors, to full blown Catalyst Web Applications and APIs using Perl. Over 17 years experience. The linked website is one that I created around 2009 based off of an old C++ version. I and a small group of others have maintained and updated it ever since.

I learned this in 2020 to take over a stalled project and was able to use it to publish the linked app for both iOS and Android. While using it I gain experience using popular Libraries like React Navigation, Redux, Axios, and Native Base. I also have experience using it with both Typescript and Javascript.

Over the years I’ve administered, clustered, created UDFs, Normalized, migrated, backed up and restored this RDBMs often. I take pride in being able to not only propose a solution, but also being able to explain how it will benefit a project.

I became interested in flutter after seeing Google I/O presentation on it. Using it, I’ve created about a dozen private apps. Most of which are for Android & iOS, but recently I’ve used it to create some desktop and web apps as well.

Elixir is an exciting Functional language to program in. I’ve been using it more and more in recent years. I’ve written several utility programs, and maintain one Phoenix website.

I’ve worked with PHP off and on over the years. I’ve used it to create automated mailers, web pages, and other scripts and programs to facilitate business activity.

A cron like job runner that can run jobs in parallel across multiple machines. It comes with a basic web interface for viewing jobs, and their logged output.
I originally wrote this in the early 2010’s for Direct Freight Services. The types of scripts it was used for was eventually deprecated and so was the need for it. Direct Freight then gave me permission to post it publicly.
It’s written in Perl and uses the RDBMS as a central authority. Coupling it with a network share, Dropbox, or a deployment solution like Ansible, and you have a robust solution for scaling upwards.

This was a wrapper around the Lending Club API. I wrote it in Raku. At the time it was stilled called Perl 6. I used this code to help attain my own personal financial goals, and to teach myself Raku.
